Ethereum Classic has no central organisation, and therefore no "official" social media; every channel listed here is run independently by members of the community.
The Discord, Telegram, Twitter and Reddit sections cover the channels linked in the footer of this website. The rest is a non-exhaustive directory of regional and topic specific groups; parts of it have not been reviewed in a while, so some links may be out of date.
Discord
There are two general purpose ETC Discord servers, both active. They are listed in the order they were created, without preference; feel free to join whichever suits you, or both.
The original community server, running since 2016, which is loosely moderated and was the venue for many of the past core devs calls and community calls.
A newer server, launched in November 2025, which is tightly moderated and runs automated verification, anti-spam and announcement integrations. See the announcement post for background.
Telegram
The long-running English language group for general ETC chat.
The group around ETC Grants DAO, which funds projects building on Ethereum Classic.
The two community-run accounts use twitter-together; tweets are proposed as pull requests against the account's repository, reviewed in the open, and posted automatically once merged. The easiest way to suggest one is the ETC Contributions app, which submits the pull request for you, with or without a GitHub account. Ideas are also picked up from tweets tagged #ETCtweets, which are discussed in the #ETCtweets Discord thread.
The more widely followed of the two accounts, with editorial guidelines that keep it formal, neutral and free of memes. Tweets are proposed in tweets-eth_classic.
A less formal account where memes and lighter posts are permitted alongside network and development updates. Tweets are proposed in tweets-etc_network.
The Ethereum Classic subreddit, used for longer form discussion, questions, and sharing news and links from around the ecosystem.
